Sib Trip

It has been awhile now since my sibs came to Portland for a little bonding/parent free time. And we had such a lovely time that I just wanted to post some of my favorite pics from the weekend. And if you know my sister you know that we took a LOT of pictures.

I stepped on a worm.

Barefoot. In my kitchen this morning. Please please PLEASE someone tell me how a gooey worm covered in dirt got on my kitchen floor so that I could step on it on my way to pour myself some cereal. I first thought I had stepped on a piece of red onion that must of somehow fallen off of some left overs that Tyler ate late in the night. But upon further review I realized with nauseating horror that it was indeed a big juicy worm squooshed all over my heel. It literally took every ounce of my strength not to scream out loud and then bash my head on the counter. Instead I gritted my teeth and cleaned myself and my floor up and tried to convince myself that this was not a big deal. But seriously! How in the world did it get into my kitchen!? Nice start to my Wednesday morning? I think not.

{Note. I wanted to put a picture up with this. But all the worm pictures I looked at caused me to freak out and nearly vomit. So alas. No picture.}

It is a rainy day in Portland

Feeling really sore after a great workout.

A few things I don't love quite as much

People who have the inability to use blinkers whilst driving.

Olives and Mushrooms.

Swim Suit Shopping.

Improper use of punctuation.

Not knowing the difference between words such as two, to, and too or their and there.

Sorry Kobe, Not Tonight

While I really do not understand why we cannot beat the Bobcats, the Thunder or the Knicks I am happy to report that we can manage a sound beating of both the best team in the league and my most hated team in the league- the Lakers. This game was just too great to not post about it. And despite the fact that I may have to take Tyler to the hospital to treat the aneurysm he had last night during the game, I think it was the best game this season.

Really all that needs to be said is that Deron was dominant. Again.

I have always said that Pau is ugly. Like REALLY ugly. We have posted about this before. But here is just further proof for those of you who are still on the fence. This picture really displays his personality perfectly. Whiny, obnoxious, crybaby. Oh, and ugly.

This is right after one too many terrible fouls had been called. This is when the visible switch from normal Deron to what we call in my house "Angry Deron Mode" occurred. Basically when this happens it means we are going to win.


Now for my favorite moment of the night. Memhet Okur mocking Kobe after draining a three point dagger in the final moments of the 4th quarter. For this, (both the shot and the mockery) I want to kiss him (on the cheek of course).

And may I post a note to my lovely Kyle?
Dear Kyle,
Please shave. You look ridiculous. And that makes me very sad.
