This is how we rock Halloween. M Style.
This is how Tara and I rock Halloween. Church style.
This is how I am a raven. Martha style.
Sometimes people ask me, “Sue, how come you’re so sensitive to minorities?” Well, I’ll tell you why. Because I know firsthand how hard it is to struggle as a minority in America today. I’m one-sixteenth Comanche Indian. In fact, I like minorities so much, I’m thinking of moving to California to become one. What is better than a fall baseball game on Saturday morning?
Notre Dame. So beautiful and stunning.
Victory of Somathrace.
Rickie is definitely one of my favorite people to travel with...for a lot of reasons. One is that she is funny. Very very funny. And another is that we are both very mature. Obviously.
The view from the Eiffel Tower at night.
The Eiffel Tower was gorgeous. I was so happy we were there when it lit up. I was missing my husband a lot at this romantic spot.
Germany- Bamberg, Munich, Fussen:
I cannot even begin to say how much I loved Germany. I did not expect it to be so awesome, so I was very pleasantly surprised.
Bamberg was beyond adorable.
Rickie and I loved the little rose gardens. Again, very mature.
Rothenberg. Without-a-doubt the most adorable place I have ever seen, and ever expect to see.
We loved the huge amazing Christmas stores. We spent many hours and Euros there.
Hofbrauhaus in Munich...where we discovered Apple Schrole. Joy.
Fussen Germany where the fairy tale castle was born.

Interlaken, Switzerland:
We took a train ride through the alps that was completely stunning. The final destination was the Jungfraujoch.
Ice caves were very cold and very awesome.
The top of the Alps: Jungfraujoch. Gorgeous.
Paragliding.
Time on the beach was so refreshing. We were so exhausted when we got here that spending the day on the beach and in the ocean was one of my favorite moments of the trip.
The entrance to our adorable hotel.
The church in Monteroso.
Florence, Italy:
This is at Piazza Michelangelo.
The Bernini doors. So incredible.

The Vatican. As incredible as you would expect.
St. Peters Basilica.
La Pieta was the best part of St. Peters for me. It was so beautiful. It was so overwhelming to me to see these gorgeous pieces of art in person. They are so powerful. I don't think I will ever forget how I felt when I saw them. The David, Victory of Somathrace, Venus, La Pieta and so many more were just so incredible and so memorable.
The whole trip was, as I said, beyond description and beyond fabulous. I am so grateful I was able to fulfill a lifelong dream of mine at only 23. Now I need to dream up a new location to start petitioning to visit!
