So many things

I am grateful...
To have more amazing friends than I can fit in my house
To have a husband who is talented, brilliant, dedicated, loving, funny... and the list goes on
To have the worlds best parents
To have siblings that are truly my best friends
For my little brother who made a very grown up decision to go on a mission {next week! EEK}
To be living in one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen
For the privilege of watching my husband succeed
To be a member of this Church
For girlfriends who can talk as much as I can
That Spring is just around the corner
And
For weekend getaways with aforementioned friends

New Buys

I made some new purchases from Victoria's Secret.
Oh how I love VS.
I bought these. In black. Yay.

And this.

I wish you could mail order that body.

And there are so many other things I want. Like all of their adorable summer dresses and shirts and about 50 more swimsuits. Oh yes, and their shoes. I would love one of each. Thats no so much to ask right?
If you do not shop VS, you should. Trust me.

Sunny (er) days

Wishing I were here:
Eating this:

And definitely this with them:

Maybe next year...

Madness

I now understand the meaning of March Madness. I have never cared before. At all. But I was peer pressured into entering our work pool and I am now glued to my computer watching every score on ESPN and streaming the few games I can get. I am going to be a nervous wreck until this is all over. Great. Look what is happening to me! I blame Tyler 100% obviously.

But for the record I do want to say that all three of this mornings games went in my favor and all of my picks won {Okay as long as I am being honest- these are really Tyler's picks that I entered into the pool, but I am pretending as if they are mine. And due to how into this nonsense I am getting I feel as if they are mine. And I get the money if I win. Of course}. I am so good at winning.

10-not-so-cute-things-about-me

I was tagged by my sister who claims that because she is my big sister I have to do what she says, and while that is not true, it really kind of is...so here I present
10-not-so-cute-things-about-me:
1. I don't have any desire at all to have children. I am sure that will change someday...or I hope it does...but for now they mostly drive me crazy and make me feel sorry for people who have had to give up their freedom to deal with them.
2. I have a fairly intense case of road rage since moving to Portland. Everyone here drives like old ladies {no offense to any old ladies}.
3. One of my biggest pet peeves of all time is when people don't use their blinkers {hence the road rage}.
4. I am fairly sure I could eat Little Ceasers Pizza for every meal and die happy doing so.
5. I am one of those huge losers who is obsessed with Twilight.
6. I love to pick. One of my greatest joys is picking off my nail polish...usually after spending about 2 hours on a manicure.
7. I don't know how to pay bills. I hate dealing with them and if Tyler ever had to go away for an extended period of time I am pretty sure our phones and electricity would be turned off.
8. I have a wild imagination. I have had to stop watching scary movies of any kind because for weeks afterwards I am certain that I am going to fall victim to whatever scary thing happened in the movie. I have been known to talk to myself and my non-existent ghost/stalker/killer etc etc just to keep myself from freaking out. Sad, I know.
9. I like to copy Andrea. But I hate when people copy me.
10. I am totally obsessed with a massive number of reality TV shows. Luckily I married a man who values the quality of reality TV as much as I do.

So Long, Farewell...

My big little brother had his farewell on Sunday. He is leaving us to go to Paraguay in a few weeks. I have to admit I was less than thrilled at the prospect of him ditching us for two years until I heard him speak in our church on Sunday. That boy has some how magically transformed into a missionary in what feels to me overnight. I have never been so proud of my little brother and I am so grateful that I was able to be home to share in the spirit that he exudes these days. He is an amazing example to me and I know that I will be blessed through his service to the people of Paraguay. This has been a new and amazing experience to get him ready for his mission and I could not be more excited for him. And while I am going to miss him like I have never missed anyone, I am so happy that he gets to be a part of something so incredible.
He is a missionary rockstar.

See how excited I am? See how cute he is in a suit?

The last sib picture for the next 2 years.

We only wish Ty could have been there too.
Happy Mission Trent Trent.

Redemption.

The only good thing that came out of this seasons Bachelor is Jillian.

Seriously. After a so so season, followed by a horrific ending I am very pleased that ABC redeemed itself by choosing my favorite ever woman to appear on this silly show as the next Bachelorette. I am going to be one happy camper come May! AND! I didn't even watch the season opener of ANTM because I was so consumed by the Bachelor. So I guess that is the other good thing that came out of this season. That and an excuse to have a weekly party with fellow followers. Okay fine. 3 good things from this season. But that is all!
