I am fairly certain this is what the Garden of Eden must have looked like:Our annual trip the Rhododendron Gardens was not a disappointment. We love Spring after a long gray winter. We decided to bail on work/school a little early and enjoy the sunshine while we can.

Family Photos...Do we count as a family?
We had a fun impromptu photo shoot with the talented Kate Maxwell. She is technically a wedding photographer but used us as practice on some new methods she was trying out {Lucky us!}. She is obviously incredibly talented because she managed to get plenty of pictures of me that I don't loathe and even more pictures of Tyler not looking like a serial killer. It was actually almost impossible for me to pick the following pictures as some of my favorites. There were just too many cute ones. So thanks to Katie for doing something no one has ever been able to do before. I was pretty much laughing hysterically the whole time. Partially because Katie is very funny, and partially because I have a hard time taking anything seriously when I should.
This was the last picture of the day. Which resulted in a high five. Feeling good that we survived.
We have not really had our pictures taken since our wedding, so it is fun to have some up to date photos of just the two of us.
Thanks Miss Katie!
Thanks Miss Katie!
Lets take a stroll
Cleaning out and organizing my college photos took me on a little stroll down memory lane. I just had to post a few pictures of the three ladies that got me through college. Actually I am pretty sure I owe my degree to Erin. I am fairly certain I would not have gotten out of bed once in 3 years if not for her. So, thanks for that. Sadly we are now spread all across the country, but these girls will always have a very special place in my heart. I can't wait for the day when our get togethers can happen more than once a year. This pretty much sums us up. And it seems only right to throw a lawn photo up here. The hours spent out here really are countless. This one is particularly excellent of me. Love you girls.

Oh Happy Day
Today is a happy day. This day 28 years ago my sister was born. I feel so lucky to have the most amazing sister and best friend. We have done a lot of awesome things together starting from when were were just babies. Like sleeping in curlers every night of our lives until we were 12. Thanks for that mom.
She is my favorite travel buddy, conversationalist, photographer, comedian, friend and so much more. Not living in the same state as her has not really been working out for me. Hopefully we can remedy that sooner than later.
Happy Birthday Sarser.
Love you the most.
